take a leaf from the religious texts

The government leaders say there is no human trafficking in the country. All illegals are properly dealt with according to human rights and the laws. Yet there are reports and pictures of the government agencies mistreating these illegals. I read reports about Rela members mistreating/harassing the construction workers or double standards on color of a person. Malaysia is now known for many unflavor things. The US government put the country under Tier 3. Whatever the leaders want to say, other countries will take note on the US report. We have many laws here yet the government passes laws.....too many laws for what purposes? Remember too many cooks spoil the soup likewise too many laws make everybody rudderless - I mean want to do this and that must check every aspect of the law by the time I won't be able to see what I want. Why can't the government make proper headings and then act on it? Nobody can understand all the laws enacted and passed over from the British and also the town council by-laws where some of it are gathering dust....It can divide into say On Drugs, On lies and false declarations, On properties, On marriage and divorce...etc.etc.....it doesnt have to run into million of pages - on what you do, what happen you do wrong and what are penalties and prison terms or death penalty.....I know we have laws now but the ordinary citizens won't read or understand it.....and it is said ignorance of the law is no excuse. I always think laws should be easy to apply and understand but as humans they tend to make a journey which short into 10 km run....I personally feel throw the laws away and take a leaf from the religious text (s) it is there the crime and punishment
