The moon-cake festival
The young will enjoy the event
The lanterns and moon cakes
Every participant can smile
The night of lanterns
The school band play the songs
Walking on the street
Every one will see the parade
The parents and on-lookers
They may wish they are young again
The children cry of fun and joy
They beat the working adults
But the moon cakes
The prices shoot too high
It has become too commercial
The meaning of it has lost its sting
The moon will shine
The sparkles of light in the sky
Nobody is going to complain
Once a year so be it on the price
