The memories come alive
On the villa 348 we lived
The strong wind blew at night
Rustling roof tiles echoing breeze
The silent flow
The cool fresh air
Sweeping through
Day and night
When the rain falls
Heavily on certain month
The big drain gets clogged up
It floods the surrounding villas
Water snakes giggle freely
Casting ripples telling dont be afraid
The coconut trees
When it is ripe
Free drink salty and bland
yet it is refreshing
About the time spending there
Oh the white sandy beach
The cool waves come to play
Touching the shore
bringing dirty rubies scum and all
On the cool sunny day
Sunbathing guys and women
Half naked bodies without care to the world
Frolicking with the natural breeze
And the people on the island
Names gone memories fade away
It is good to remember in our times
Living knowing the place so well
The memories come alive
On the villa 348 sign
Here lie the long forgotten sights
The footprints of our lives
