driving to the north

Drive the road to the North
From where I am lodging now
It has been over 100 days
Until today I drive it up

Everything seems familiar
The road stalls of durians in season
Though the durians aren't delicious
For the durian addicts they will pay

Even the old abandoned houses
It hasn't done the process
The state is suppose to pull it down
A half past six job was done

Along the road to the mosque
I see a new sign put it up nicely
A house owner advertises his lodging
Home Stay”

As I drive on the road
Nothing seems to change
Everything looks familiar to me
Like the small cars still speeding
