The double line
It spells the rule
You learn it in school
You can't break it
Out of the school
You are free to do
You forget the lessons learned
You throw it to the wind
When the black dogs run
They don't follow the rule
The double line on the road
They can ignore and get free
The blue dogs only stare
They are told to leave them alone
Though on double line
They can only glare
The class rooms
The teachers feeling the heat
Lessons never get into heads
Out in the open what rules?
The changing world
The people must decide
Let a new court arise
Let the change worthwhile
