the Good Lord takes Jimmy home 2

Ashes sit on the boat

Rowing out to the sea

The nice warm weather

The ripples in the water

The whirring wind

Touching the ashes

Slowly it spreads out

Leaving no physical soul

It's only the memories

Of a time walking on Earth

Living life to its fullest

Finally return as ashes

Prayers for the soul

The ashes will be floating along

Spreading its web wide

By the whirring wind

Jimmy gone home to God

Living in his paradise

Leaving his memories behind

Still pictures to share in family tales

We will offer prayers

In the homes in the church

Let him know he isn't forgotten

His memories will stay with us

the Good Lord takes Jimmy home

In the early morning call

The nurse says of a soul will be gone

He can't make it with his life

There is nothing she could do

Jimmy died today

In the hour of the morning ray

He battle it for over many months

Even suffered a bout of Covid 19

Yet he recovered

But he had no will to live

Every waking hour he wanted to go

To visit his mother up in heaven

In his last few months

He couldn't remember many things or faces

He was slowly losing his memories

Sometimes he could; sometimes he lost somewhere

He lived his life

Though he had his bad days too

Now he would be at peace

His wish had come true

He leaves behind his daughter

His brothers and sisters and relatives

Nephews and nieces to mourn his passing

May God bless his soul and forgive his sins

the day she was born

The day she was born
The face we will remember
Though we hardly see her now
She lives up among the saints

The 11 pieces of lights
Shining bright in April today
In our mind we can celebrate
Lena Woodworth's birthday

We can offer our own prayers
A mother we will remember dear
Though we will not see her face
In our minds she always have a place

Now the saints will sing for her
As she blows her 11 pieces of candles
She will send her wishes down to us
The light full of joy and happiness

lena woodworth

The years slip away
Silently in our daily lives
We don’t think much of it
But the memories stay
In our minds

It is 16 years today
How time fly away!
Lena Woodworth in our minds
The playing cards on the table
But it was a long time ago

The cards we played
No need to say
It is the silence
But it is the warmth in the mind
The memories walk passage of time

The years and time gone
In memory we will hold her there
The walk of memories in the minds
On this day we stay for a while

11 of april

11 of April
A day to remember
An angel watches us from heaven
Praying we live a good life and more

Though she left us years ago
The memories will linger voices hear
An angel now in heaven
Our mother watches us from afar

I will always remember
She left us white butterflies came
The winged butterflies flying in my eyes
As if telling me goodbye

Today is her birthday
We can hold her in our memories
Our dear mother in heaven
The lights will keep shining

Lena Woodworth
Today's is her birthday
Though we don't see her
In our minds we will remember

Up in the paradise world
The place we pray everyone will go
Living in easy sort of way
Flying like birds; as free as the wind

There we hope she will stay
Praying for us to live life of full
Looking at us from the heavenly windows
Once she was with us now in our memory

Today is her birthday
The sun shining bright
The wind stay still for awhile
We feel the moment the time she was with us

we will remember

The graveyard of departed souls
Once they walked on Earth
They put their footprints
They shared their threads of life

We will remember
The memories in our minds
Once they shared with us
The history of the times

The years may have gone
The voices were silent in our ears
But the voices of memories
It's still floating in our minds

We will have the photographs
Holding on the memories
The departed souls once we knew
In our minds we still hold true

we can't forget

The day arrives again
The memory of Lena Woodworth
Watching us from paradise
We still hold dear of her time

We can't forget
Though time has passed
The memory still holds true
Remembering the time she was with us

Now the day arrives again
We will light candles to remember
Our dear mother Lena Woodworth
A time has passed she was with us

Though we live our everyday lives
We still remember her time with us
Though time has passed
The memory still holds true

the pieces of april

The pieces of April
It comes in from the air
Life has gone but memory stays
It's your birthday, Lena Woodworth

We don't hear your words
We don't see you around
Though up in paradise
You will watch us by

The pieces of April
11 candles to light the day
In our minds we will sing
Happy Birthday!

Our lives will flow
You will watch us carry on
You will watch us from paradise
Singing Happy Birthday to you!

Happy Birthday Mother
You live in our memories
The pieces of April
It comes in from the air

remembering the day

The morning sun
The glory of its light
Shining golden bright
As 2 candles lit
It reminds us
Of someone dear

She's gone
Into the heavens
Up in the faraway land
She will look at us
Watching and helping
Every way she can

The memories always stay
Every day when we know
She's gone of our lives
Only the memories
As we remember the day

Our mother, Lena Woodworth
The memories still stay with us
The years may have gone us by
But the light will keep us living through

april in the month

This is the day
April in the month
The remembrance of Lena Woodworth
The day she was born

Though we never see her again
She left us ages ago
The footprints in our minds
She will stay in our memories

It only seems like yesterday
She sat on the chair doing her chores
Listening to her narration
Of a time long gone

The whirring of the wind
The cloudy sky and drizzling fall
Lena Woodworth we remember
Long she has gone the memories stay

a lighted candle

A lighted candle
On the bowl it shines
A day to remember
Lena Woodworth in heaven

Blowing by the soft breezes
Under the shady trees
The candle flickers brightly
In the hot weather day

A light to remember
We haven't forgotten the day
She left us to a better place
In heaven she will pray

Shining her guiding light
Watching us with her loving care
Though she has gone
We remember the good times we shared

the walk of memories

The years moving on
The thought of you
It will stay in our minds
Of the years we knew

The stories of your good deeds
It will stay in our lives
We know how good you were
Those years when we knew

Time may cushion our pain
But we know you are watching us
Watching us every step we make
In case we fall like children do

The walk of memories
The melody of singing angels
The stories of your good deeds
It will stay in our lives

april of light

April of a light
The pieces flow in the mind
Of a time once we knew
The candles keep burning

She may have gone
The paradise of God's land
Watching us from the misty clouds
Praying for us to walk with scriptures

Pieces of floating April
The date she was born
There will be no cake
There will be no candles

In our minds we know
The date she was born
Now she is in God's land
Watching us with her silent praying

Our mother Lena Woodworth
She is gone but her memory stays
The candles keep burning
In our silent prayers

i never met him

I never met him
Part of the story I heard
The good family man he was
A kind hearted soul

A King Scout in his younger days
Once a Scout the disciple stays
I know how a Scout behaves
I was a Scout in my school

Help and honour
The motto one is drilled in
Be a better person be kind to all
In the world full of good and bad

Sometimes others took advantage
The kind soul reaching out to help
He did it on his own way
The memories stayed today

Though he lived happy
He let the opportunities passed by
He lived in his belief
Help somebody he would get in return

The Scouting discipline he lived by
In his years until he left the stage
He lived with the knowledge he tried his best
And his memories stayed today

through the mind she stays

The years gone
Through the mind she stays
Remembering her those years ago
Listening to the washing machine

Back of the kitchen
Facing the empty land
She would talk about things
The grand children sometimes

I remembered she didn't complain
About any illness she might have
She was from the old generation
She kept it till the last....

She left us quickly
Remembering in our minds
The white moths came for a visit
Flapping wings seeing the house a last time

Before she left us finally
She gave me a hug and said thank you
I knew she would leave us
I held back my tears

The years had gone
The memories still in our minds
She will still stay with us
In our daily walk of our lives

the footprints in our minds

The years have gone
Into the silence of the sound
The memories will stay
The footprints in our minds

Maybe she is still watching us
High above the clouds and sky
The ray of hope for many
In our daily lives we walk the Earth

The imagination of our minds
The touching of our lives
Though the years have gone
The echo in our souls

Maybe she's still watching us
In the land of paradise
The light we keep seeing
The rainbow in the sky

the april 11

The April 11
The birthday of Lena Woodworth
Gone to the windy breezes
The memories sing with us

The years may have gone
Knowing her sitting and talking
While she was doing her chores
Of the years I knew

In the morning of breezy sunshine
The rays of opportunities still abound
The celebration in each of us
The mind imagines she is around

The silent whisper
“A happy moment for her birthday”
Guiding us in her world she lives
The pitfalls we may not see

A silent prayer
In our thoughts to her world
The breezy wind will take our messages
A happy day on April 11

the pages in our minds

The cloudy morning
Yesterday heavy rain
The cool breezy wind
As the journey begins

A few days early
On the All Souls Day
Paying the respect
To the dear departed souls

The candles and flowers
On the cemetery of those gone
The memories of their living
It stays with us

The echoes of the past
The history of their lives
The pages of written notes
The footprints in our minds

the day in tambun

The day in Tambun
On the cool weather breezes
The silence driving up
The day of remembrance

For a decade she had gone
The time I spent talking with her
Near the washing machine......
About the familiar things

There was no inkling
The reason she would leave us
By the time we all knew
It was time she had to go

When she hugged me the last time
I knew without words I would never see her again
I saw the white butterflies floating around
It was the omen the angels had come
No doubt she will stay in our minds
For the years we had shared in our lives
The cool breezes waving at us at Tambun
As we all prayed for her for a while.....
