The
day in Tambun
On
the cool weather breezes
The
silence driving up
The
day of remembrance
For
a decade she had gone
The
time I spent talking with her
Near
the washing machine......
About
the familiar things
There
was no inkling
The
reason she would leave us
By
the time we all knew
It
was time she had to go
When
she hugged me the last time
I
knew without words I would never see her again
I
saw the white butterflies floating around
It
was the omen the angels had come
No
doubt she will stay in our minds
For
the years we had shared in our lives
The
cool breezes waving at us at Tambun
As
we all prayed for her for a while.....
