the old of our times

The way of life
The old of our times
The community services
The children had their days

When developments never came
When private owners had their tenants
Of houses built and rented out
In the villages of our times

When internet hadn't arrived
The children bonded out together
Playing games and physical activities
We didn't hear of boys and girls go missing

The playground in the villages
The open fields and kite flying
Those were the times
Until mass developments came

Then everything changed
The value of friendship too
It was measured in money
The bonding slowly disappeared

Those were the days
Where life was free
Bonding was easy
Nothing about differences

Those days were gone
The capturing memories stayed
The disappearing face of bonding
Now it is race and religion
