By
the river of Klang
Near
the river bank
Once
it was clear water
Fishes
lived with colours
Quite
often I saw
The
old folks threw lines to fish
Under
the shady trees for hours
Catching
fishes to eat
Once
along the Klang bridge
There
was a live crocodile floating
Every
one stopped to watch the scene
“Aiyah
got crocodile one ah!”
Now
the river of Klang
The
colour of lives had gone
It
is a muddy liveless river
The
soul has gone
By
the river of Klang
Once
it was a clear water
Fishing
for hobby many did
Now
developments destroyed it
