crying in the dark

homeless and beggars hide
Now
they heard the news
Where
will they go?
In
the drumbeats of city life
The
harsh reality when you are poor
You
can't afford to live in decent living
You
can't afford to have simple benefits
Getting
free food and drinks
The
soup kitchens parade on the streets
At
least they have a decent meal and drink
Battling
the harsh reality of city life
The
rich and famous
They
don't walk the streets do they?
Learning
the harsh truth of these people
How
they live to survive?
We
send help to Palestine
Our
own backyard we forget
Charity
should begin at home
