Muhammad
Ali
Once
he could float like a butterfly
Once
he could sting like a bee
In
the ring with his boxing
He
made a lot of noises
Promoting
himself and the ring
He
changed his religion
He
wiped out his heritage
He
didn't want to remember
The
root where he came
He
promoted Islam to his fans
The
gateway to peace
He
got his punishment
Standing
on his feet
With
boxing and the millions
And
his legion of followers
In
later years he has Parkinson's disease
It
slowly takes away his speech and soul
The
years of his boxing engagements
He
remembers his history in boxing
Now
God has taken him home
To
a place amongst the great ones
He
may still dance like a butterfly
And
stings like a bee in paradise
