We are asked to sacrifice
Our time and efforts for the nation
Politically we have to tolerate
The unfair distribution of wealth
The sacrifice must apply both ways
It shouldn't be a one way ticket
We shouldn't be playing the game
Of divide and rule to suit a race
The nation needs to progress economically
Every citizen has a right to live in freedom
No need to worry about the bad laws
Enacted by our members in Parliament
We are asked to sacrifice
Pay our taxes for our nation's debts
Yet the bad laws still stay
Holding us to divide and rule play
