The politicians will tell
The straight faces without sweat
Even if they say the long tales
They still can smile
They always think they are special
Playing on their words to stay relevant
It is a job not everyone wanted it
So they are thick skinned and confident
They have heard of the bad inning
They can talk but action so slow
They can give their explanation
The truth they aren't going to perform
Because they want to be around
Feel the power and benefits flowing
Watch the pot-holes contractors
Many times they will resurface the road
The politicians not everyone can tell the truth
They are rules and laws within the party to follow
Even in government services they are tied to rules and OSA
Of course they don't say but make up their own tales
