there is nothing to hold me

I'll keep moving on

The world will not allow me to stay

The lights will stay bright

I have to go

I stand on the hot sandy beach

Listening to the heating wind

Whirring low to my ears

It's time I have to move on

There is nothing to hold me

The years I spent looking at the sea

It's time to return to the city

Of songs, wine and shadows

I'll keep moving on

I make my footprints

When it is time to go

I have no shame to let memories stay
