Yes...damn haze is back! It comes on the yearly routine. We have seen it. We have smelt it. What can one do? Drink alot of water. Stay indoors. Do less activities in the open. What dialogues have been done? Like always smile and coffee time. Get a record attendance that something has been done. The Indonesian minister apologised for the haze...nothing else is done! Next year and many years follow we will hear the same record spinning again. Haze, haze, haze!
Ipoh landscape director was charged with corruption. He didnt plead guilty to the charge and as a result he is still working in the department. Going by the government rules he should be suspended until a disciplinary board convenes to hear the case in the department. No...he is put on full pay and the mayor was reported that he wanted to save money! What a way to tell the rate payers in Ipoh! Normally, as in any private company, the officer will be suspended with a show cause letter to explain his conduct of corruption. Likewise the general orders of the city council should be meted out to this senior officer. In Bolih land everything can do!
Likewise in matriculation and STPM are equivalent although the former is only for one year schooling and the examination papers are marked internally. STPM is two years schooling and the examinations are marked externally...Now we have many Malays looked so very efficient in their studies that the non-Malays seemed to ditch behind....It should be on a level playing ground so that there is no division of class treatment in the country.
