changes in the neighbourhood
Jog
and walk to feel the light breezes
Some
facades change; some stay familiar
Along
the way the dogs keep barking
Some
houses keep empty for years
Suddenly
renovated and owner stayed
The
months out of the jogging trail
New
people moved in to live
The
shoplots are left empty
For
years nobody wanted to occupy
Now
a new car repair shop opened
And
a Diamond Mind office
The
new housing scheme
Owners
moving in slowly
The
shopping complex is empty
A
sore point in the area
Jog
and walk with the sun setting
The
cool breezes singing in the ears
The
water buffaloes grazing in the open field
The
cow dung on the road
