the circle 2

Hey..is it alright?

For me to start my car?”

The masked men turn around

You are save sweetie”

The office worker sighs of relief

She enters her car and closes her car door

She takes a deep breath crossing her fingers

The car's engine roars to life

She engages into gear

She cruises out of the parking zone

Stopping at the guard's post inserted her card

She is out into the open road

Along the way she looks at her rear mirror

She finds nothing peculiar to arouse her suspicion

She drives on confidently putting on her music

She puts on her brake at the traffic junction

Onlookers shouting at her

She can't hear but she feels something is wrong

She winds she car window “what's wrong?”

You better get out of your car!”

She quickly opens her car door

And alights on the tarmac and watches her car

A small fire is spreading at her boot area

She can't believe she car is on fire

Within a few minutes

The fire brigade arrive

The officers put out the fire

There is a combustible liquid causing it”

The woman teary eyes

She is grateful her life is spared

The poor car is in a watery mess

She calls home and waits on the side road

Many curious passersby stop to look

Maybe some will say the driver is lucky to escape

Other motorists slow down to see what's wrong

The woman thinking of the masked men..

They are trying to help

Have they done it on purpose?

Retrieved one and plant another

She will never know

She sits near a flower pot

Looking the passing vehicles

She just looks at them blankly

She can't imagine who wants to dispose her?

She is miles away

She imagines what heaven will be like

Then she hears her handphone rings

She picks it up “Hello?”

I am glad you are still alive

You must have many cat's lives

Today you missed twice on your life”

Who are you?”

We are nothing to you

We know what you are

You pretend it very cool

In this society you blend it well”

I don't know what you are talking

I am clueless of what you are trying to do”

Hey sweetie wait for the full moon

You will find what will change you!”

She listens at the line goes dead

She looks around her surrounding

She finds nobody to arouse her interest

She closes her eyes listening in her ears

She can't remember about full moon

She is an alien on this world............

What will change her? She hardly can recall

She gets up and slowly walks away

She walks to window shopping

Standing outside the shop she looks

There is nothing on the reflection

What am I really?”

The handphone rings again

She picks it up automatically

We are watching you

You know what you are!”
