It's singing out loud in the sky

The smoke raising to the clouds

The choking effect on the people

Rain or shine the culprits don't care

They light the fire on the dry leaves

Some put together plastics and rubber

The chemical smell and thick smoke

They know it is wrong

The culprits just don't care

Reading it newspapers and televisions

Then habits take control...

The police will not take action

As usual it isn't its responsibility

It is under DOE and so that's the way

But where is the DOE officers?

We don't see them around

We have the bloated civil servants

But we don't see any action on open burning

This is the way of a weak government

The hazards of life

Don't wait for tragedy to happen

Patrol and catch and shame
