Yet its leaders still can't change

For decades the party managed the State

Through the years always ran into deficit

It was the linked to cronies profit diverted

The State didn't show any surplus funds

When the opposition took over

Within its term before the next election

The opposition ruled State stored up cash

So it could be seen which party would rule again

The second State election

The opposition voted back to power

The people expected to improve the State finances

The party of the old can kiss goodbye

This party of its heyday

The leaders should all go and retire

There is not much hope for them

It is the end of the road
