the lonely stretch of road

The bus never stops
It is full so the driver drives on
On the dark lighted bus stand
The few passengers wait

They just look
The bus just drives on
Leaving them to wait
On the lonely stretch of road

They look at each other
Checking the time the night claims the day
The eyes will tell the feeling
What happen if no bus hit this way?

The cars passing by
The motorbikes too
The next bus takes a while
They crank their eyes to watch

A van stops by
They decline the offer of free ride
They hope they don't have to wait long
They look up a half full bus stops
