the crooks can't go

The crooks can't go
They are so afraid
Listening to Bamboo River
The songs ringing in their ears

The way out is to bargain
Carve a path to find a way to escape
The clutches of the laws coming in droves
The smell of Bamboo River is no way

The police stay in one eye close
The laws seem to hide in closet
It is used on selective persecution
The police quiet on the elegant crooks

The public anger in social media
Like the rain it may cause floods
So far the crooks stay quiet
Watching with smile on their faces

The crooks can't go
Listening to Bamboo River
They can delay but they can't escape
The sins hanging over their heads
