waiting at the gates

female bitch dog smells the puppy

she is her flock

plays with the puppy for a while

the puppy is left alone

the day the puppy hangs around
Eyes
staring for some help
Nobody
wants a puppy

goes away for a while

evening the puppy appears
Lazing
around at the neighbour's gate
No
barking noise just sitting and waiting
Nobody
cares to adopt her

female bitch dog arrives again
Smells
the puppy but never brings her along
She
leaves the puppy at the gate

puppy never follows
