Yet we never learn our mistakes

Cutting down the slopes
Causing landslides and dirty mud flow
Nearby residents protested without solutions
The Federal and State governments
The politicians are pro-developments
They see the wealth creation in their eyes
Nature plundering they close minds
The major flood in KL city
It should be a wake up call now
Do not test Nature
She is sending her warning
We can't stay the old system
We have to learn and engage
With experts who are knowledgeable
They can make that much difference
The politicians in the ruling
They don't care much about Nature
They want to create wealth
They don't listen to Nature's wrath
Nature sends her warnings
The consequences we will face
Learn to hold Nature dear
Else we will pay for our greed
