Always the show persons
On the stage crowing out loud
“Vote for me I will protect your interests”
Do they really?
Once they are elected
They don't really remember
The interests of the voters
They show their showmanship
Finding ways to stay relevant
The power and benefits they can find
The people's interests way down the steps
Everyday they talk
All about themselves
Afraid to lose it all
Nothing about voters rights
The politicians
Don't indulge them too much
