floods

BN leaders on the buy election
The party wants to win the seat at all costs
Full concentration on winning the seat
Else it will be a slap on their faces

Floods in Kucing
It isn’t serious to BN
Blank out the TV coverage
Let the people here thinking otherwise

I had been into floods
Once my kampong got flooded
The water rose quickly within hour
Nothing could be saved in the dark morning

I once nearly got stuck in Temerloh
My car went through the flood prone area
When the locals gave the signal
Luckily for me I managed to restart my car
I reached Kuantan safely

So I can empathize
The floods rising in homes
Destroying properties headaches for many
Yet nothing will be done
It will repeat all over again

the strong wind

By honest.observer on Flickr

The strong wind blowing
Cutting across barriers
Nothing to stop its way
Digging up debris

Into the air it flies
No fixed direction
The wind takes along
Leaving behind when it goes

In my garden I witness
Dead leaves twigs and rubbish
Lying on the patio clustered around
Hooking it up in a corner

When the day is quiet
The cool breeze returns
I sweep up the patio and porch
Let the cleanliness shines
A place to relax
And thinking what lies ahead
The strong wind blowing
Cutting across barriers
Nothing to stop its way
Digging up debris

Into the air it flies
No fixed direction
The wind takes along
Leaving behind when it goes

In my garden I witness
Dead leaves twigs and rubbish
Lying on the patio clustered around
Hooking it up in a corner

When the day is quiet
The cool breeze returns
I sweep up the patio and porch
Let the cleanliness shines
A place to relax
And thinking what lies ahead

the loose ground

kuala terengganu by election

The loose ground
The BN walks hurriedly
Canvassing hard afraid to lose
Too much at stake
In this KT buy election

Money, money and money
Let the good feeling flow
Dishing out abundantly
Telling them more developments on the way

The good time must flow
BN wants it in its stable
But will the people buy it?
When developments go other way

Promises are made
Keeping it is another story
Now take the money
Vote with your mind and eyes

The running dogs and the stray cats
Going underground to find out shelters
Sharing with the locals believing in bonding
Until the election is over

PR partners mustn’t lose focus
Internal conflicts will make the day worse
Strike a balance don’t issue uncalled for statements
Stick to local issues forget about the world

The KT by election
A lot at stake to get a win
Let the voters decide
The future direction of the country

airports in the country

ipoh airport never gets the big picture

Airports
In the country
Some doing so well
Others growing downwards

KLIA and LCCT
Talk of the people
For the wrong reasons
Thefts and poor handling
The authorities never learn

Now BN wants
Listening to the private investors
LCCT at Labu
The government thinks it can solve the problem

Telling the people
Don’t worry it isn’t taxpayers’ money
It is private initiative to a tune of $1.7 billion
Disclosures aren’t forthcoming

The laws of aviation
It must be complied with the letter
There shouldn’t be any mending of rules
Just so the private entities can go ahead

The old airports forgotten
Leaving them dying a slow oblivion
Like the Ipoh airport
Lying there waiting to see progress

Airports
In the country
Manage it perfectly
We don’t need another

So what with the Malacca Airport?
Opening this year becomes a show piece
For the economic activities then dying away too?
The government should take stock
Study in depth before giving approval

lcct at labu

LCCT at Labu
The BN government approves
Without proper study and surveying
It is because of cronyism

Sime Darby and Air Asia
Eyeing the airport privately funded
Within an area of 100km
Something isn’t right in numbers

Within this small area
4 airports in the circle
Too many tigers roam
Fighting will be the day

In the end who will pay?
One fails one in limbo
In Malacca perhaps
A new airport in 2009
Smell the air; feel the smoke
Then slowly it dies
Taxpayers’ money wasted
Somebody smiling to the bank

Now the concerned parties
They will tell the good investment story
BN government never study in depth
As most high flying projects
Falling into questionable conduct

The people must decide
Quickly before it becomes too late
We can’t afford to run this country
With elected people doing party biddings

We better know our backyards
Before we go protesting for other countries
It is here we must clean up our act
Else we get a slap on our faces

Let there be light
In our hearts in our souls
Smile cheerfully knowing we are alive
In this world nobody else

Let there be tolerance
Forgive and carry on
In this world there is too much hate
In it we will burn ourselves away

The world should be one Nation
Color blind in our eyes
Help each other to progress
In our minds in our souls

Let there be light
Let it shines its golden bright
The sparkles in our eyes
Knowing we are alive
Living peacefully
In the multi-racial way

an eye for an eye we all die

Image Preview
The history of Palestine
It is the history of punching bag
Even in the 1st century
They are used

Through out the centuries
Palestine suffers in the hands of the powerful
Even in those centuries past, Palestine didn’t have peace
Why it happens?

It could be
Palestine makes the God angry
In the 1st century of its existence
And through out its history

Living peacefully
Palestine hardly learn
In their eyes it is revenge
An eye for an eye

God ways telling us
‘Revenge is mine not yours’
We never learn so are the Palestinians
If only one party stops shelling
If only one party willing to seek peace

Then God may listen
Finally granting peace on Earth
As it is we don’t find tolerance
Every party tries to think differently
God will punish us
For a simple reason we can’t live harmoniously

mca will be history

MCA is dying
The roots of evil has spread into it
It doesn’t need a veteran to know
Some already say the president is a dictator
Look at him shutting out his deputy

Identifying needs of the Chinese
He just wakes up from his long sleep
Like the sleeping beauty of UMNO
This guy too suddenly finds he needs to defend
The goods for the Chinese

Over 5 decades what MCA doing?
Enriching themselves with contracts and wealth
Leaving the poor Chinese fighting their battles
Only in buy elections MCA talks about Chinese needs

When I was staying in a kampong
I knew a Chinese guy who wasn’t rich then
One day he joined MCA a year or two he became
The branch chairman then wealth he prospered
Opening a shop showing off his wealth

One day of many years later
I was told his shop burned to the ground
I didn’t know what happened to him
I knew he left the kampong never heard anymore

Likewise in MCA
The fire is burning
Swallowing them in smoke
It is just a better of time
The party will go down to the ground

The last nail on the coffin
Niamah it will happen in next election
Then MCA will be history
The party forgets we are Malaysians
Living together enjoying our multi-racial heritage

the cement plant in Malim Nawar

Cement plant in Malim Nawar
A $600 million project so it is said
The PR government in Perak
Think of the environment and her people
Nature and health shouldn’t put aside

Perak has enough cement plant
Building another one knowing the protests
About poor air quality and health hazards
The state government should study the project

People in Malim Nawar protested
Enough of the problems encountered in Tasek Cement
They don’t want it to happen in the area
This cement plant should be sited elsewhere

People in Kampar too
Blowing dust into their homes
I am from Selangor buying my homes in Perak
For the easy flow traffic and clean air

I hope the Perak Government
Seriously view the project
Site it elsewhere with low density of people
In this way it shows the people
Its leaders study their views
Care for nature and care of their health

BN talks about culture of fear
Amongst the people if they vote differently
This is what we don’t want BN
It is always them nobody matters

BN talks about poor economy
Running into the country
It is always them nobody matters
In the affairs of the people

BN never wants to talk
About their mismanagement
About the corruption and cronies
About wealth going to preference people

BN doesn’t talk about dual laws
Using the Police to do their dirty work
On one hand BN talks about obeying laws
Then BN does the opposite of instructions

Vote for BN vote for fear
Vote for BN vote for losing wealth
Vote for BN vote for miscarriage of justice
Vote for BN vote for losing liberty

So vote wisely
The future of the country
It is in your hands
You can make the difference
For the future of your generations

the high rise buildings

miami beach condo penang
By multiplegeorg... on Flickr
Miami Green Condos by multiplegeorges.
The world of high rise buildings
Pigeon holes of many names and stars
Living it you may get nightmares
Maybe like zombies walking the streets

There are many neighbors
Some are alright, knowing the rules
Others are pain in the arse
Giving you sleepless nights
Boiling up temperatures
You think you want to get a good sleep
Then the irritating hammering or cooking
In the early hours of the morning

It will be worst
When you live nearby a surau
With the loudspeakers in the early morning
It wakes up people who need sleep

As good people we don’t complain
We suck ourselves keeping the peace
Small irritating nuisances a part of life
We hope they will stop
As we wait for the light

the sooner we learn

The world of religions and gods
Be it what you want to name
Lies and make belief
In the end what are we?

The people of the world
Mushrooming into billions
Learning the good and bad ways
The power and the weak
The light and dark
In our minds we seek peace

The illusion of harmony
In the back yard the temptations break
On the religious dogmas
Believe it is made
For the journey to seek the truth

What are we?
The people born to earn the stripes
There is only one God
To Him we all must return

The sooner we learn
The better we live our lives
On planet Earth we enjoy
Until the day we seek His audience

living on the hill

Living on the hill
The cool breeze and quiet sojourn
Seeing the best view
And the early misty clouds

The nature crafts
We shouldn’t try to change
The consequences are many
We don’t want to lose lives

Living on the hill
It bounds with restrictions
For the safety and environment
Once we forget we pay for it

No cut corners
No cheating on the hill
The consequences are many
Lives can be gone while sleeping

Living on the hill
Know its rules
For lives safety isn’t guaranteed
One wrong move life is history

the human greed

The human eyes
Seeing the wealth
Smell the good life
Nobody wants to deny

Giving it freely
Without sweating for it
This is a good life
Somebody says

As with all giving
There is a catch with it
Selling souls payment in votes
This is the way

Nothing is free
Think about it
Somebody wants
The wealth of the country

the big spenders

Mama Mia!
The money flow discreetly
Into palms into smile
The wind blowing unexpectedly

The big spenders
Come in expensive cars
Followers too get a glow
Rubbing shoulders

The big guns of BN
They came to wipe away tears
For they know they have to spend
Winning voters, money flow

Mama Mia!
It takes so good
Smell it holding the papers
Every thing has a price
Only humans will say otherwise

The big spenders
Flocked in to Kuala Terengganu
Sub contractors earning windfall
Catering to the uniformed guards
Running into thousands of them
Millions will be spent
Why waste money unnecessarily?
BN afraid feeling so afraid to loose

Mama Mia!
Big spenders in town
The buy election
Make them feel there is no recession
The simple kampong folks
They want to get on with their lives

money in the buy election

Money again
In KT buy election
UMNO goes
The entourage of big spenders

The running dogs too
Barking up at the back
Telling people this is the man
Fixing it up when he comes
Into representing them

The oil money
Where had it gone?
It is said over $20 billion
Do the people in KT get it?

Nay it had gone
No guessing work here!
Into the pockets of big spenders
Now you see them
Giving a little back
Thinking the kampong folks
Never understand about money matters

For 51 years you are still backwards
Living in poverty never gets the riches
Of the oil royalty
Now UMNO come parroting
So don’t get fooled
Vote with your conscious
Vote for the right reasons

camry arrives for perak PR government

The Camry drives
The 9 arrives
Cruising proudly
Along the shady trees

The PR government
Has to do it
Proton Perdana too costly on repairs
Through the years under BN

A new coat of paint
Ushering the New Year
The Camry arrives
Touching base with people
Telling don’t spend too much on repairs

It is the driving habits
The drivers must send for refresher courses
Equipping them with knowledge and tips
Of how to drive properly and on ABC maintenance
Else it is back to square one
The workshops will milk the peoples’ tax money

Tell the drivers to log
Where they go and distance
In this way faults can be determined
The driving skills of the drivers too

In a year tell the people
What repair costs come into
Be transparent; be truthful
Let no excuses rob the mind
The people are watching
Every day every time

letters of the law

Follow the letters of the law
The government wants us to do
Obeying citizens queue up filling forms
Pay the money waiting for the call

The days go by
You wait for it to arrive
Letter or the call
Sometimes it never

So much about clients’ charter
Displaying prominently on the wall
Telling the people we served you
In the end we know

On the streets
Lamp posts and walls
Illegal signboards, banners and leaflets
Pasted and hang up for all to see
So easy no hassle and it is free

Here the obeying citizens
Standing up obeying the law
When others do otherwise
The town councils ignore
Claiming ignorant of it all

Wait think about the assessment rates
Millions running into it
No action for years
We have to follow rules and laws
Obeying citizens getting raw taste
In our daily dealings with the middle leagues

so here we go

Protests widen: Muslims displaying posters and banners during a campaign to boycott US and Israel products after Friday prayers at the National Mosque in Kuala Lumpur yesterday. — AZHAR MAHFOF / The Star
protest in KL on Israel
Others problem
They protest
When will they learn?
Will others help us when we have?

Learn history
Aggressions and conflicts
Everybody wants peace
Living harmoniously

Yet amongst us
The world we live in
They are demons in sheep skins
Telling you sweet stories

The modern Pied Pipers
Living amongst us
On the world stage
Spicing up their lives

We go protesting
Holding placards to tell
It takes 2 to tango
Don’t you think so?

The Crusades in the past
The battle on religious grounds
Amongst tribes of the same family tree
Conflicting interests and the sad stories
Reaching into the present century
They are still at each other throats
They never learn how to sit and drink
And tell stories once again

So here we go
Protesting and boycotting
When in our backyards
We have people suffering
Living in poverty
Where are these people?
The champions we seek

restaurant 228

The rain fell heavily
While I was eating
In the open air restaurant 228

The wind blew
Swaying left and right
Bashing on the zinc roof
Rattling heavy sound
Like in a rock band
Banging your head
As the music landed on it

The weather became cool
The torrential rain dangling heavy drops
Alas for the gutter grooves!
It overflowed into the restaurant

I was at the end of my meal
The dashing water picking no heroes
Splitting its way into the tables and chairs
A sorry state in the evening business

I left the restaurant
Quickly ran to my car
Ignited the fire revving it up and gone
Driving back to my home

The road was flooded
I didn’t know
My car the experience one on flooding roads
It drove through perfectly
Reaching home wet and in good shape
Then the rain went silent for the night

boycott US goods

Boycott US goods
The Malay NGOs want to do
On the footsteps of former prime minister
They never think before they shoot

US is the major importer of our goods
Tell me what to do when US stops buying from us?
Will other countries want our products?
In the end we create our blockade

Politics and economics
It is a different ball game
Do not lump both together
It shows lack of knowledge
Even one can be running a government

So in the end we better return to stone age
We can’t use our computers and notebooks
Everything on IT will collapse in the country
See where will our people earn a living?

With politics talk on politics
With economics talk on economics
The two will not be the same footing
Unless you think we are stupid

The heavy loads
On the shoulder to bear
Walking on the streets
Telling the voters
‘Now vote for me’

The pitiful face
The ages of years gone
The eyes of experience
The spin of fools

The years had gone
Now the people recognize
It isn’t the way they wanted
They have known the lies

The heavy loads
When you look inside
It is empty full of air
The tricks on voters
They better wise up quickly

The changing in our minds
We aren’t stupid any more
The black magic is gone
The time is now
Change it else say no more

the buy election tactics

It is to say
We must have money
Otherwise how to live by?
So the government is kind

Money for grant and capital
For company to provide good services
The people welfare no money
The poor have to beg and cry

Do we hear the government?
It is all deaf and dumb awhile
When buy election arrives
So much money to entice

The heavy baggage
They can’t slug it along
So the government gives
To people and companies of its choice

Niamah it is pick and choose
You and I don’t have the chance
We have to struggle every time
Money the mint of aroma
The sweat and tears for many
The government turning a blind eye

Gaza, Gaza on the rise
Bombing jets fly
Across border to engage
The reluctant bride

The crying on the ground
The tears fall fear in the eyes
As the cloud of smoke bloom
The yelling amongst the crowds

Gaza, Gaza spins
The shattering ground the broken promise
Bombing jets fly
The wings of power
The hapless bride cries

The conflicts never end
Of families of promise land
On religion, on territorial rights, on families
They fight, they can’t see eye to eye

The wings of power
Flying across the sky
Across border to engage
The reluctant bride

politics and dinners

Politics and dinners
The people gathered
Listening to the speakers
Telling own stories

Across the streets
Others watch with interests
Motives and objectives
It flows into it

Opponents will try
Sabotage in its vein
Brewing false hopes perhaps
As the gullible people entertain

The cycles will begin
Every time about the good characters
You don’t hear bad things
It is like gold sparkling glow

The plain clothes police officers
Stationed discreetly pretending in groups
Recording for good measures
Building up cases knowing no where

Politics and dinners
The stories retold many times
People listen hoping for the light
Of the good life

the clouds of fire

The clouds of fire
It never seems to go away
I hear the sound
The jets flying around

The clouds of fire
Thundering in my ears
The specks of bombs
Falling on the ground

The cries of the innocents
The retaliations engagements
I know it is hard to see
About the losses of human lives

What is wrong?
The aggressions of our beings
The cave men mentality
Fighting, fighting and fighting
When will it end my friend?

IJN is safe

IJN is safe
The predator walks away
It doesn’t want to take up the stake
Too much resistance
It makes pr work a nightmare

No doubt it says
In the end profit motives will drive it in
The people, rich and poor, will have to pay
If it runs like a company

Now the chapter has closed
Let’s hope there is no other to stalk it
IJN let it runs for the people
Let it be always

In the first place BN government shouldn’t allow
Even the slightest hint to entertain the request
Yet the government did then aborted it
When they find they have a buy election in KT
Finally the BN government turned around
Delayed the project of selling

Now IJN is safe
The company doesn’t want to marry
Too much dowry by the people
It is better to go elsewhere

it takes 2 to tango

It is always said
It takes 2 to tango
One sided play
It doesn’t tell the true story

Though I don’t agree
Israel shouldn’t bomb Gaza
The parties should find way to ponder
About the never ending bombardments

Even the Palestinians teaching the young
With recorded video playing with fire
It is the way to establishing peace?
It takes 2 to tango

The centuries of hate
Both sides never want to appease
Give and take seems so hard to come by
Subsequent leadership changes
The old wounds remain the same

Love your neighbor
Written in the scriptures
Do these people read and understand?
Do we understand ourselves too?

It takes 2 to tango
As long as they keeping at it
A distance unwilling to take the floor
Peace will be hard to come
Here we spin our thoughts
No more bloodshed!

teenagers and sex

There is nothing new
Teenagers engage in sex
If you read about ancient stories
It happened then
So what is new here?

Asian families
Lips tight can’t explain why
The topic about sex
It isn’t something to hide
Any more in every one life

It is still hard to communicate
About sex with the children
Heck it even can’t discuss amongst married couples
Lovers and acquaintances
Something it always hides in the mind

It is best to ask 3rd party
Like doctor or councilor
In this way the bashful parents
Spare the embarrassment

Sex should be taught in schools
The MOE shouldn’t delay it any more
Give the teenagers the empirical knowledge
Of the good and bad of it

Sex with teenagers
Nothing to do with religious background
Let them have the facts and consequences
Let them make their own decisions

choose the right one

The show of strength
What is the point?
It isn’t to win the economy
It is for somebody else

The 3 cornered fight
The voters have to decide
The better candidate wins
Only don’t get swayed by party
BN or Pas

The voters should get the person
Doing the job for the them
It shouldn’t be controlled by party loudmouth
You will be loser when the election is over

Now the buying goods begin
BN will go all out to win
This buy election is very important
For a guy who wants to become prime minister
Directing this by election

The issues are many
Unsolved perception and swearing lingo
Corruptions and fixed up charges
Plenty to ignite the minds

So voters in Kuala Terengganu
Pick your choice make it works for you
Otherwise it will be sad journey
Talking about miss opportunities
You can make a difference
And you blow it away

ISA again

ISA is me
I have my holidays
Living freely
Staring at my notebook
This is my punishment
From morning until at night

I don’t have to worry
No chain long or short
ISA is me
Flying into net space

I read I see
I play the games too
I don’t answer
I have no skills to say

Holidays I enjoy
Living in the way I want
So ISA is me
I do as I please
Within the walls
I live freely

pr government keep your promises

Local Council elections
Go with it as promised
Why give reasons of law?
Just let the people in the area decide

PR government must get it through
Don’t tell the voters what is right and wrong
We expect them to know
Before it is listed on its manifesto

It seems PR wants to appoint
People of the party choice
Forgetting the basic principle
The voters in the area to decide
The choice of candidates

It seems PR is trying to navigate
Away its promises by giving legal reasons
I hope the PR leaders don’t get overboard
For the voters will make them pay
Come the next election

Why so difficult?
Let the people pick their candidates
Like normal party elections
Then the state governments decide
On the candidates eligibility

the bumpy ride

The year will be a bumpy ride
Fasten your seat belt forget about pride
The world is reeling from the economic turmoil
There is no answer only my own advice
The misery of out of jobs
I know people who cry
Maybe sorrow in the minds
Knowing they don’t have a choice
As companies folded up
Losing jobs part and parcel of life
The main stream media
It will sing the sentimental tunes
There is nothing to worry about
The country economic fundamentals are strong
I don’t know about you
I feel it is a political sleeping mantra
The government trying to hide
Don’t panic the people
Let them on until they are daze
Then tell them the truth
The financial turmoil in the world
Even the superpowers got it
We aren’t shielded from the down rides
It has already arrived
Learn to live what you have
Study what you need
For the darkness fall for a short while
Then the bright shine glows

people die for a reason

People die for a reason
Others may get a chance to born
Into this chaotic world
We called Mother Earth

People die for a reason
We can cry feeling remorse
We can say our eulogies
Nothing bad everything good

People die for a reason
Inheriting paradise believe in faith
Otherwise we sweat it out
Every day till we disappear

People die for a reason
To tell others we are human
Immortality isn’t in our manual
We have to go to get into heavens
Maybe hell until God decide
The days we are buried on the ground

You can’t keep bombing my land
The place of our birth
Have you forgotten it?

I was there maybe in 6th century
You weren’t born to occupy the land
Yet when centuries passed you came
From the land you took it away

Don’t walk away from me
You bring tears to my eyes

I see the war lords
They have eyes of fire

I hold out my hands
Let them know there is still hope
No matter what they think
Peace is the way for all

I hear the Mother Earth pounding
The heartbeats erratic flowing
I know the signal of the years I read
Give peace a glow
Before nature takes us all down

I hold out my hands
I believe there is a way
We should sit down
Smoke out the hatred
Let nature sing for us

The darkness fall
Palestinians run hiding out the bombs
When hostilities erupt nobody is right
When both sides don’t give and take
Share the same border try to find peace

The innocents of the conflicts
Palestinians and Israelis
The sins of their forebears
It never erases through the blood lines
So now they fight when demons rule

The rain of fire
The ground breaks into holes
The weeping in the smoky sky
The lives loss unbearable pain
Yet Palestinians and Israelis
They go on catching each other throats

As long as they don’t see peace
The conflicts will sing its misery
Strumming into their minds
Peace will be just a word
The sins of their forebears
The children pay again

The heart bleeds
The way the government goes about
Flip flopping on its administration
Taking the people for a ride

Laws passed
There are loopholes abound
The FC as the yardstick
Yet the law draughts-men forget

Look at the rear seat belts ruling
Thieves get lesser jail and fine
What are our law makers doing?
Dreaming all the way to paradise

Even Mat Rempits have a field day
Poor motorists forget about rear seat belts
$2,000 find and a year jail sentence
You thought of saving lives
What about those trying to take lives?

Benefits for the people
Voted them in so we hope
In the end willing to sacrifice
For the profit motives not for social responsibility

IJN on the radar screen
People wait and protests
This is for the people
The government shouldn’t sell

The heart bleeds
The way the country leads
Invasion of economic woes
And the leaders talk about profits

every party has its share

Internal cracks
Every party has its share
Nobody can run away
With so many egotistic heads

Leadership by example
It is hard to find in politics
It is a game of winning
The loser will be nothing

Cracks in leadership
Indifferences to grass root support
On the top calling the shots
The soldiers task to carry out orders

It is here the problems started
No say no input by the down lines
All are decided by the war lords
It is them break and make the leader

It is best leadership post is fixed
For a 3 term to carry out projects
Welfare of the people, party and self interests
In this way a balance can be had

Political parties
There are always internal cracks
No leader should say otherwise
In the coffee shops we hear plenty

the sweet words of holy

The people worry about living
Listening reading about economy
Across the South of the border
At least 10,000 lost their jobs

The last partying
Last year had gone
Reality begins to bite home
People will lose their jobs

The BN government still napping
Telling people don’t worry
The ministers and politicians
Living in cool breeze

In the scenes like these
The BN government silently preaches
Trying to help companies taxing the people
IJN the poor and rich can go
It is now on the predators’ list

Silently BN
The government intends to do
IJN for the people
The peoples’ investment
The government wants to sell

Sweet words of holy
People have heard plenty
BN thinks we have forgotten
It is its Waterloo
The people will bury it for good
When the next GE springs to life

the early morning sun

Morning sun by NI Eye.
The early morning sun
Its golden shaft of rays
Meandering through crevices
Poking through open air

The golden heat penetrating
Hot in temperature rising
Exploding its golden sparkles
The way nature tell

The demons quickly hide
Yesterday was fun cool and breezy
The sun light barely heated up
A day the pests had fun

On the main range
The white misty color in the sky
Beautifully crafted bewitching the eyes
Imagine the angels surfing in our lives

Today the heat of the sun
Roaring golden showers in the sky
The demons quickly hide
The day the sun smiles

the stray animals and me

The stray dog bombed my compound
Leaving his trade mark in the early morning rise
There was no barking; there was no way to know
The stray dog came sniffed it and deposited on it

I just can’t understand
The dogs and cats roaming at my compound
When there is an open public field
These animals don’t go there

They have to come
Visiting my garden and compound
Killing softly the poor green grass
Turning it brownish sucked off its life

The annoying factor
The owners of dogs and cats
They don’t take responsibility
They let loose
They don’t care what these animals do

So in the morning
Early sun rise I have to do
Scooping it up bury it in the soil
A new year with a stray dog bombed

we have a fixed time

The clocks go back tonight... by Her life in pictures (is back!!!).

The powerful and the weak
The world we have seen
Unleashing its awesome arsenal
Destroying the weak rapidly

Forgive and forget
Live in peace and economic trade
We are brothers and sisters
On the same family tree

It never happens
Greed walks into its place
Wanting power refusing to talk peace
This is what happening
The humans will destroy themselves
They never learn the scriptures
Though they pray and study every day
Yet they never learn a thing
About ancient history

The bombs on the grounds
The cries and wails, falling buildings
The tide of rights and wrongs
It never arrives
They are all wrongs
Killing brothers and sisters

We have a fixed time
Learning to live peacefully
Understanding the scriptures
The tales it spins
Else we will be destroyed
Like others before us

Just love thy neighbors
Say hello give a smile
It is that hard to do?
Sharing a common goal
The Mother Earth

midnight raid on ijn

[BLOODY+SLIMY.jpg]

http://rockybru.com.my/

The sleeping beauty
He wants to bleed the people
Saying it is good for them
Sell off IJN

The peoples’ hospital
Where specialists easy available
For reduced fees
The people can afford it

Though the government employees free
The public at large can get a better deal
A specialized hospital to cater for all
It should remain as its objectives

I have a feeling
The warlords want to dismantle
Everything connected to the former PM
They want to make the old man living in emotional distress

It is for the people
It should be; it shouldn’t be sold off
Just because a company coveted for it
Brewing sweet notes no melody

The sleeping beauty
He is doing things in a hurry
Sleeping for years now quickly asking for change
Before he disappears in our radar screens
He wants to make his last impression
We will remember him for the worst
He never learns
He is still sleeping

Chasing tourists’ dollars
The government intends to do
Listening to its beautiful songs
Ringing in the till

Heritage by certificate
A mark to sell the state
The tourists will come
What old buildings to tell?

The inner city tenants
The small traders and craftsmen
All will be disappeared
Leaving the inner city
Stripping it off her soul

The decay in the inner city
Change hands the property owners
Turning it into tourists’ spots
Bringing in the wealth

Heritage by certificate
The tourists will come in bus loads
Believing to see ancient charms
Only the facades
The inner souls the modern antiques

The charms of old
It has gone in memory
In printed stamps and postcards
Drawings and photographs

The inner city
The soul is sold
To tourists’ dollars
And the ringing bell

the black cat

The black cat prowls
On the ground on the roof
Meow her way freedom to go
There is nothing to stop her
Only people throw hot water
Pebbles and shouting

On the top roof
The queen aloof
Pawing on the tiles
Eyes staring down

The majestic glow
The eyes telling you why
“I am light I can jump
Walking leisurely
The queen smiles”

The herd of dogs
Barking aimlessly
Distraction a routine of its life
The poor dogs can’t climb

The black cat sits
Admiring her domain
On top floor
She is the queen

The ass story
It will begin in 2009
Round 2 the poking game
When economy is feeling bad

The emotion writes
On the walls; on the streets
In bars and restaurants
The ass story of a life

The shadows play
On the fall and rise of some
Fixed up charges; telling lies
The ass story one more time

The jobless and graduates
The hungry eyes the minds craze
The ass story people have no time
Filling barrel for time will be bad

The long list of corruption charges
The opposition will tell
People want to know
Yet the officials take it slow

So what ass story to tell?
A new paint on old wall
There is a glimmer of hope
It is that nothing else

As long as we don’t change totally
The ass story will narrate through out
A new paint on old wall
Only naughty people graffiti on it

the bitchy dog

Strumming the fence tuning melody
The bitchy dog sniffs it away
Wagging her tail feeling good today
The sun warm heating up the streets

Barking loudly
Waking up the sleepy heads
Living in the homes partying yesterday
As the sun rays shifting
A new breeze whirring into it

The bitchy dog barks
As outsiders walking by
Touching the fence
Listening to the wind
A new day a new celebration

The bitchy dog stares
The close gate owner sleeping
Light shine brightly
She wants her peace
Sniffing on the streets

the people choice

The people choice
Speaking it up on March 08
Woke up the giant BN
Finally the giant cried
The colorful races
They dont run away
Together in unity
They picked leaders
To manage the affairs of state
Yes we can!
The BN can't fool us any more
Branding us putting fear
We light up candles
Telling the powerful we aren't scared
The changes will come
Like it or not it is happening
The year 2009
The momentum carrying it through
Yes we can
The changes in our hands

gurney drive

Gurney Drive
Walk along in the evening breeze
Many years ago while I was staying there
Dirty beach for all to see

The sun set glowing
The sky peaked with starry stars
Yet the debris floating in
The people surrounding me
They couldn’t care a bit

The unconcerned parents
The children bad habits
All rubbish throwing in
The bad image dirty place

Rats and cockroaches
Having fun at our dirty habits
Throwing rubbish into the beach
The line of unsightly debris
The Pearl of the Orient
She cried that day

The government of the state
Pushing up high rise buildings
Bending on feeding the economy
The bad habits never change

The quick solution
Jail them make them clean up the dirty beach
Wearing tags to say
‘We must help the environment
And keep the public places clean’

the bitchy bitch

The bitchy dog
Roaming on the streets
Walking in back alleys
Feeling good in the New Year

The heat of the sun
Shining bright on the streets
Bright early morning sunshine
The bitchy dog smells her way

A herd of stallion dogs
Pecking order in place
Sniffing on the bitchy bitch
The small ones lagging behind

The air full of heat
The stallion dogs sniff
Walking in row with the bitchy dog
They too want the celebration

On the nearby unkempt garden
A puppy dog wailing high and low
The owner doesn’t care at all
Yesterday party inertia today

The bitchy dog stares
She doesn’t care too
She walks away
The stallion dogs running along
The sun smile brightly
Heating up the streets

rear seat belts ruling

Buckle up
The seat belts ruling
Rear passengers don’t forget
A 6 months grace
Then a find and jail

The law comes into effect
1 January 2009
Enough warning given out
There is no excuse to forget

You think you can afford
$2,000 fine a year in jail
Stop for a while and think
It is worth it to forget?

It is to save lives
In case of drastic accidents
So buckle rear seat belts
You may save your own life

the year end bash

I doubt it was a sex party
Too many people in a room
In this age of technology
Video will crop up somewhere

The year end bash
Some rent hotel suites and apartments
To usher the end of a year
Gathering friends and acquaintances
Just party and make noises

I had seen those parties
Booked in apartments
The people wanted to have fun times
Jamming it out for the night

Maybe they made too much noise
Releasing pent up emotion
Let the flow into it
Thinking they pay so what was wrong?

Know your neighbors
Respect others right to quiet solitude
Sometimes people don’t care
They think of themselves

soak 2009

Soak 2009
You don’t have to worry
About money and time
Live it for the time
Let regrets go
Don’t empty your pocket
Be wise with it
Beg for alms cheat and cry

For Santa has gone
The reindeers left yesterday
No more presents
It is back to sweat and tears
And a little of sarcasms
It makes living hot in the ears

Then it is life
Without it how boring it will be
Soak 2009
No left over
Cross the bridge
And sing a new song

the klang bus station row

Relocation of Klang bus station
2008/12/31/the-bus-station-that-tore-the-opposition-apart/

The old bus station
Sit well with the locals
Serving them for decades
Easing them to reach home early

Now the new Klang Bus Sentral
About 7 km away
It isn’t solving the problems
It makes it worst for the people

The Pakatan Rakyat government
The MB should think about it
Forcing people to pay extra
Of wasted times and money
The grouses will turn into votes
BN will clap hands
Though it is BN approved project

People come first
It isn’t about company profits
It is the convenient way to go
Locations must
Don’t force people
The anger will be severe
In the next election

I don’t live in my home town
I don’t know much about the scenes
Though I keep tap about it
The state government should reconsider
The move has drawn political divides
And the people aren’t happy now

dont talk about race

By cintahati on Flickr

Don’t talk about race
You are elected to serve all Malaysians
Oh Manika! You forgot your pledge
The country doesn’t need race politics
It has to be buried for the common good
Malaysians come first in Malaysia

Bringing up race
You will not win the race
The art of managing
Know the rules and the walls
So you will not bang into it
Only red eyes to show
When you are trapped inside
With your own sorrows

Look into it
Don’t get drowned into your own
Let your work speaks volume
Not about race

Our votes go to Pakatan
It isn’t about race politics
You forget being Malaysian
You think of your race

Sit up and realize
Without the other Malaysians
You aren’t here today
You are nowhere with your race

Walk and talk Malaysian
The way it should be done
And the interest will pay
When you work for Malaysians

learn the lessons well

In the morning
The wake up call
Looking into the sky
The day will not bring
The bounty into a life

The worry on the rise
The effects of the party
Reality sinks to realize
The year 2009 what will it be?

The negative economics
Whatever names come to shore
It is the worrying trend
Those with families to feed
Mortgages to pay

The eyes misty
The mind clogs
Of the fear of no money
The day will be harsh and sad

Learn the lessons well
The morning sun breaks into glorious sparks
Illuminating the darkness dwells
Patience will conquer all
The adversity of life
