the unforeseen jaw of tragedy

Life full of risks
In the course of one's years
Some will escape what they do
Others aren't lucky in their work

There are calculated risks
Taking that events knowing what are at stakes
The maximum uses of safety precautions
To minimise the unforeseen jaw of tragedy

Some are sporting risks
The thrill seekers defying the odds
The risks are huge no mistake must be made
Once it happens death is facing the wall

Yet some still never learn
They think they are the professionals
The risks they undertake will be managed
But jaw of tragedy still grabs them

One of the prominent Malaysian bloggers died
After a short battle with his illness he lost his ground
The man who wanted to craft a better world for Malaysians
He always at the front to fight for the causes

I met him years ago in Ipoh
We were there for the candles light vigil
On the field with other like minded people
Together with the DAP state and national leaders

He introduced me to Lim Kit Siang
We held our candles light vigil on the field
With the presence of detectives and uniformed police
It was a peaceful gathering for a cause

I never met him again after those years
I read in his blogs about the ills of the country
The shape he wanted others to know and fight for change
He never gave it up even when he was suffering with his illness

He still lighted his candles
Maybe he knew his time was up
So he made his damned rights to change
The people of this nation

Goodbye Zorro Unmasked
Now you could rest in peace
May the Lord welcome you home
In the land of paradise

the militant groups

The militant groups
Around the small islands
Living out of reach
Of Malaysia and her neighbours

Once a while they make an entrance
When they need millions to fight their causes
Malaysia's coastal islands will be the target
Herding the people out for ransom

It has happened a few times
Our forces should have learned
Patrolling the coastal areas and islands
The dragnet should be on target

It so happens it never
The porous security networks easily sneaking in
The militant groups know the layout
With IC issued they can mix around

Now our security forces patrol the seas
For how long before they forget?
The militant groups will wait and watch
For the millions on the latest kidnap victims

We have this DNA profile
We only act when something or event happens
Otherwise we will forget our security
In this time the militant groups strike

the angels sing

The angels sing
The praise of God
The life and death
We can't escape

Liberty of a cause
Liberty to express
Let no man try to impose
The way of God

We hear many
Religious authority will try
Impose its will on the people
When there is no compulsion

History returns
The hungry of power
It makes the nation religiously poor
When God allows us to be free

The angels sing
Of our stupid ways
We haven't learned from history
We see it coming back again

the mountain talking to the wind

The cloudy sky
Late evening of the day
The strong wind blowing
Shifting clouds to the mountain

The rain clouds seem going somewhere
The mountain talking to the wind
So there the clouds going
The town slowly getting the bright light

The thunder over the sky
Rolling on catching no one
The mountain talking to the wind
It has to be here

The nation hope
The rainfall will sing
On the dams to increase water stock
The people need it badly

the sorry

The sorry
It seems so hard to say
When events had gone wrong
Why want to keep quiet?

You can bully
The people back home
With the police, judiciary, AG and newspapers
Marching at your orders

On the world stage
You have shown your weakness
The flag bearer you can't hold high
You run and hide

The sorry
It takes courage to say
Say it and move on
It never diminishes a person's courage

paradise lost?

Paradise lost?
On the islands off Sabah
The Abu Sayyaf terrorists came
Took 2 hostages away

Why our navy no patrol?
Our men in blue on the islands?
We had quite a few cases of kidnapping
By the Muslim militant gangs

Lahad Datu incident
We thought the army beefed our security
Something isn't right at our borders
The Abu Sayyaf militant gangs could slip through

Maybe it is to do with Sabah IC project
This has come to haunt our security and police forces
The government should seriously consider reissuing IC
With different colours to render the previous ones obsolete

The paradise lost?
On Visit Malaysia 2014
MH370 given us too much adverse publicity
We don't need this kidnapping by a Muslim militant group

lottie sits in the water pool

Lottie sits in the water pool
Like a queen of the dog's world
Soaking wet on her paws
After a long hard walk

Then she stretches out
Letting her whole body soaking wet
Cooling it down the heat in her body
The cool water a welcome sight

Lottie is happy
The eyes saying it
Sitting down
like a queen of the dog's world

The first of many for the year
Lottie never complaints
She waits for her day
Stretching out in the water pool

it is hard to write the final word

End of the ocean
Nobody saw a thing
The data could say
It was hard to find

The false alarm
The debris found floating
It was not the real thing
MH370 is still elusive

The tears had dried long ago
The anguish too slowly disappeared
The knowledge of the worst
The fate of the passengers and crew

The closure can't be found
The fate of passengers and crew
It is hard to write the final word
When no proof has surfaced

don't destroy nature for profits

The wettest town
It got water rationing
It was a surprise to read
What happened in Taiping?

Did the authority fail to check?
Believing it is the wettest town?
The years of developments in the town
Contributing the less water catchment area?

The dam water is low
The town folks around 28,000
They have to take a long breath
Of nature wrath depleting natural resources

And in Jelebu
The driest town has water
The dam built helps to cushion the effect
Of water rationing in other districts

In the April and May
The weathermen say it is wet
Dry season will hit in June to October
The haze weather the constant hello

The land of plenty
Finally Nature wrecks havoc
Telling us to wake up
Don't destroy Nature for profits

life of changing moods

Guitar of chords
Life of changing moods
Every riff and change
The constant melody flow

It's like a conversation
You have to take a break
Along the chords of changing
Listen to melody of life

Sometimes you like the mood
Sometimes you hate it
Sometimes you want to waste the time
The chords of life in a day and a night

Yes...guitar of chords
Life of changing moods
In a quiet night the strings sing
It's like a conversation of a time

the lake of dreams

The lake of dreams
On the houses surrounding it
The sound of early morning
The evening sunset rolling

The natural setting
The good living will flourish
Imagine the quiet breezy wind
On the seasons of the year

With the state park status
It will properly controlled and managed
The trees and lake around the area
The migration of birds will find sanctuary

So the lake of dreams
Among the folks living there
The craft of good maintenance
The natural flow of breezy wind

houses by the lake

Houses by the lake
The worship of the minds
Every moneyed people
They intend to buy

The exclusivity of it
The serenity of the lake
The nights of cool breezes
The nights of quiet sound

The ordinary folks
They can dream on it
Maybe passing by to watch
The beautiful homes by the lake

The gated community
The caste of society
The cream of the lot

The houses they bought

the dust of agony

The dust of agony
It hasn't settled in our minds
Then we hear Bee Anne leaders say
They want to file charges
On the false reporting they claimed
They forget the same apply
The other party can sue too
Then the weaknesses of Bee Anne
The way the conduct of weaknesses
It will be exposed once again
Don't they realize we have enough of it
The butt of jokes in the world stage

MH370 hasn't found an ending
The search by countries can't find it
The script hasn't found a conclusion
We hear the Bee Anne wants to file charges
What are the leaders thinking?
The other parties will pile on the pressure
And we know our leaders can't take it
This isn't “do as I say or get out”

The world has seen our wrong
We haven't found how to remedy it
Our leaders think they can use legal redress
When the truth is their fault
They can't tell straight as it is
They have to say flip-flopping statements again

The agony of MH370
It hasn't died on us
The sea or land hide the prey
We haven't found it yet

the street art comes to town

The ugly walls
The frayed paint
The sun heat takes its toll
The wall turns neglected

Then one day the street artists came
They had a mission to turn it around
The faded paint and ugly walls
Into the street arts on display

Nobody has a thought of it
Even the town councils never do
Even the owners never come
Suddenly the walls turn into art

It becomes popular
The people fall for it
The street art comes to town
The potential for tourism

the group of paint artists

borrowed myoutlookinlife.wordpress.com

The group of paint artists
Sitting on their stools drawing
Eyes on the canvass minds working
The fingers moving effortlessly

They close out the bystanders
Watching them draw and paint
They are alone with their craft
Nothing will change them

The solid concentration
Alone in their thoughts and movements
Nothing will move them away
They are in their own world of art

The cars and motorbikes
Passing through roaring pass them
They don't even look up
They are in their own world

The street paint artists
Sometimes you find them on the side street
Drawing and painting their masterpieces
And they hope they can make some money

we are born to learn

Some find suicide
The easy way to run away
Leaving the material world behind
They think they do it for favours

They don't think it quickly
Existing lives never solve anything
It is like from the pan to the fire
The burning episode of their lives

They leave behind grieving families and friends
They can't accept their losses of the departing souls
The departed souls think they have escaped...
The clutches of problems by closing eyes for good

The sorrows they planted
By escaping from their lives
Never learn to fight for it
How are they going to survive?

We are born to learn
Fight the good and bad in our lives
As long as we stand the ground
We can say “We fight on our best”

do what we know best

We are born for something
In our lives we have to find
In the process we will find obstacles
The natural way where one wants a winner

The competition spirit
It raises the stake higher
Everyone will try to do the best
Even falling short is allowed

But we forget in our worldly pursuits
Everything we want we must have
There are things we can't possess
It is beyond our reach and money

We have to accept our weaknesses
In living our lives everyday
There will be hiccups in our waking hours
We have to accept it is parcel of life

Each of us has a role to play
We use our ability game we know best
On it this is the way to pursue
The joy is in our hands

under the gazebo

The bushes on an island
On the water the misty cry
The breezy wind taking its stroll
The camouflage of misty white

Under the gazebo of shade
The pretty women and the man
Smiling pretty on their moments
Of a time they would remember

The faces of joy
The freedom to express
No worry about the shadows
The misty flow would shade them

The misty shadow reaching over
Before the light was out
The shades of misty cover
Under the gazebo the smiling faces glow

the wall of sinners

The wall of sinners
Nobody will recognize the faces
When they walk away
Holding heads high

Everyday the walls are up
Helping the sinners to stay
Away from the public eyes
What they do behind close doors

It's like dust in the sky
The covering up behind the clouds
The wall of sinners
The sun rays never forget

The wind will cry to them
Stop the pretenses and come out right
The wall of sinners
They close up ears listening to what they want

the hunt is still on

The hundreds of debris
The gloomy outlook it was
When it was fished out
It was nothing to shout

The hunt is still on
The prey seems hard to find
Days have gone
The fatigue will come in

The affected families wait
They are angry without conclusion
Nobody can blame them
When the truth keep running away

Even the pilot last words
The authority couldn't get it right
After weeks it was finally corrected
Goodnight Malaysian three seven zero”

The prayers still hoping for the jet plane
It may have landed on a secured ground
The satellite company didn't want to speculate
It just said the ping gone at that drop zone

The SAR operatives keep searching
Maybe the jet plane never in the ocean
So far there is no clue whatsoever
Where MH370 had gone..

on the holy ground

On the holy ground
The crying of prayers
It rings quietly to the sky
And the wind take it along

The city of sinners
The village of closed out minds
The good news and bad vibes
They will gather to pray

The God of Compassion
The Giver of Good Life
The God of Love and Mercy
The congregation will pray

The lights on their lives
The straight path to heavens
Every step they seek...
Yet purity is hard to come by

Out of the holy ground
The black angels smile
The temptations will begin
The cycle will turn dizzy

Everything we do or say
We will not know it is right or wrong
The good news and bad vibes

Only God will make us forget and cry

the change

The change
It has to come
The time of our times
The signs we see everyday

The political climate
The errors of our ways
We know the changes
We have to do now

Every time a major disaster
The authority only wakes up
This isn't good for the country
The changes of our times

The laws never apply equally
We see it happens so often
The culprits will go free
No action or penalty to pay

The change
We can't take like it is
Even the wind will change direction
We can't keep quiet hope it will go away

It never happens
The power we assigned
We have to take it back
In our hands we can change
