when in the forest

When in the forest
Don't think you are alone
Don't think you are in a group
Everything will be free

Just be aware
The forest has its own inhabitants
The unseen angels flying around
Watching your every move

No doubt you will hear
The noises of God's creatures
The waving whisper of the leaves
The wind howling among the dense trees

The shadow lights falling
Carpeting the ground of moist dead leaves
Every step you take it along
Don't forget you are just passing through

When wrong turn or move or action
The forest watchers will punish you
You may get lost or you may trip and fall
Screaming in the forest you are just alone

The forest you trek in
Learn to appreciate its dwelling
Learn to respect its features
Don't try to make a fool of it

the burial grounds

The burial grounds
The row and row of it
Of the tombstones display
Of the host bodies gone

Buried underground
For eternity of the darkness
Leaving bones for history
For the next wave visiting

Hell and paradise
The journey of our belief
The old scriptures painted it
In reality it is living and dead

The burial grounds
The testimony of hell
Into the darkness we fall
Once our souls gone

The paradise we dream
The heaven we seek to travel
We never know in our times
We can only draw on it

the forest

The forest in the dim light
The silence in the green
The many eyes floating in the air
They never go to sleep

You walk in the shadows
The long arm of branches
Waving in the silent night
If you think of ghosts

It seems to come alive
You will feel the cold touches
As if caressing your neck...
As you walk in the forest

Don't call names
The night will imitate
It is the sign language
To protect the souls

In the forest why some go astray
They don't practise the solemn way
Calling names and laughing away
Until a mist direct them in different direction

In the forest there are rules
Don't try to play smart alec
The forest will engulf your soul

You will just go missing that's all

the gangster women

The gangster women
What a change!
They know the way
In the racket business

They learned from the men
How the men conduct their affairs
Why not take a leaf and go?
What's there to lose?

The gangster women
They want the richness too
They have a better advantage
They are women

In the society of power and wealth
The gangster women will come
They will look for the prey
They know the way

stuck on you

Stuck on you
The years never change
Everything still the same
Even the morning rain

The whispering rain
Falling down from the sky
Leaping out from roof tops
Caressing to the drains

Stuck on you
The sun and the moon
The years never change
Everything still the same

But when we listen
The ozone layers change
Too much pollution
Causing the pain on the soft skin

Stuck on you
The sun says
The moon agrees
The wind laughs along

On the ground
Do you listen?
Nay...it is the same
The years never change

once you are high

The rain fall
The wind blow
The beating on the leaves
Swaying then let go

The soft whisper
The dead leaves on the ground
Withered turning brown
Lifeless slowly composing its own

The wind just blow it away
The rolling dead leaves fly
Waving it once more in the air
As the rain beating it down

The new detached leaves
Swinging along with the wind
The final wave knowing its fate
On the heap on the ground

Once you are high
Don't forget your root
You surely have to come down
When the season changes

the city of shadows

The city noise and rumble
The waking hours seem forever
The motorists driving like zombies
Of ligh and dark what's the difference?

Ah..it is the money
Nothing else that matters
Work hard for the cash
It makes the living hard to forget

The crying in the dark
Some homeless can't go home
Living in the hot humid corridors
What else is there for hope?

The drug addicts in midnight raids
Looking for the next fix for a high
Things they can steal; money they can rob
What else is there for tomorrow?

Well..tomorrow is still alive!
The pages haven written out as yet
Maybe tonight there will be changes
The transformation into a whole clean world?

But the city will grow
The familiar shadows of actors and actresses
The stage set for tomorrow
Will it be the same shadows?

don't give up easily

Don't give up easily
In life there are many obstacles
Many will want you to fail
Many will want you to succeed

Along the way it is you
The choices you make in your life
You have to pull it through
Against all odds gathering storm

You have to believe
What you can do
What levels you can go?
You have to push for it

It is always good to start small
You feel the confidence flow
You learn your mistakes
You may fall a few times

In life there are knocks
You must have the stamina to go
As long as you stay focus on it
Success will come the sweetest it will be

And don't forget to pray
God will be the Judge to see
In life as in death there is a reason
To learn the good and the bad

don't give in to blackmailers

The blackmailers
They don't take one payment
Though they will say it is
But many will still fall for it

The victims will feel losing faces
Knowing if they don't pay to the blackmailers
They will lose their reputation and honour
So to keep it under wraps they pay

The bad hats will not give up
It is an easy way to collect cash
Don't inform the police
The consequences will be bad”

Once while living in Penang
I heard a story about a rich couple
They filmed their explicit exploits
Put on tape and kept in a safe

One day their house was robbed
The robbers carted away the safe
One day they received a call
They quickly paid about $100,000

They got back the tapes
But of duplicate tapes I hardly heard the news
So for the couple they believed they had the tapes
So they got to save their dignity

It is better to inform the police
Why worry about your face?
You dare to put on tape
So bear with it and save your money

we wish for magic

We wish for magic
In our lives we stay
Of the time we see
The troubles brewing

The black art works
Silently it seems
The elements of evil
It permeates to the minds

Even the suppose religious people
They fall for it in camouflaged thinking
Taking the souls the day they walked in
The death on their faces they think is heaven

When the crying into pieces
It never seems like heaven
It is in hell the pieces of cut meat
Grilling for eternity

We wish for magic
It is our deeds which stay
Do the good and be honest
We don't have any other way

gst the downfall for a regime

A month had gone
GST get into the mood
Every one will pay
The services and goods

Prices going down?
We don't see it in our bills
We see the costs waving at us
Don't dream baby!”

As the opponents will say
Bee Anne has bankrupt the nation
This is the way to fill up the coffer
So the gravy train will roll again

GST hit the workers badly
The pockets are lighter
Some are worst worrying sick
Putting food on the table

By right GST should be withdrawn
We aren't ready for it
Even the civil servants can't grasp it
The enforcement is just peacemeal basis

It will be the death nail for Bee Anne
That's the way the people will look at it
The leaders can't give straight answers
They will dig up hole and dig again

Even the Old Man had spoken
Amno baru leaders hit back at him
The former president and prime minister
Amno baru leaders have forgotten

forgiving the road to redemption

God always forgives
If we ask Him to hear our pleading
God never stays away
We know Him to be there

Yet men in power
They go crazy with it
They kill to keep their seats
Showing compassion
way back down the ladder

Men in power
They cultivate fear
The rules of race and religion
The darkness falls on the chair
They don't see it
They keep denying

Even when they read
The Holy Books in their hands
Men in power
They think they don't fall
But they do in time
In managing affairs
Know that taking lives
In whatever degree or law
It is a sin on the hands which move it
Each will be called to account
Taking a life without due compassion

the workers stand

borrowed from malaysiakini.com

The workers stand
Under the hot sun
With banners and placards
Telling Amno baru
Enough is enough

The converging of colourful groups
They don't think of race or what have you
They think of economic senses
The pockets lighter than before
Though Amno baru claims
Prices will drop!”

Go ask the people
They are the ones feeling the pinch
Of a tax burdening the people
Across the board rich and poor
Is this the caring way to go?
Is this the way to fill up the coffer?

The heat beat the workers
Over 20,000 gathered in Kuala Lumpur
They don't back down with solidarity in the air
On a common goal get Bee Anne out!
The party has stayed its welcome

When the workers dispersed
The police called the organizers
As usual the critics and opponents
Spending time in police lock-up
Eventhough the police gave the greenlight

What now people?
The 47% should wake up
Don't stay your heads in the sand
Seeing nothing hearing no noise
Do you realize your pockets are lighter now?

know the time to go

A leader wants to stay on
He wants the perks and power game
Though he knows the rules
Once the rumbling begin
There will be hardly any hope
It is time to pack and go
Don't stay your welcome
It brings no benefits at all

A leader must be fair
No changing whims of here and there
Promises once given
He shouldn't break it at all
If he fails to honour his words
What good a leader is he?

Bearing in mind
It is the people who will decide
The throne on the chair
It isn't for eternity
So a leader must take cognizance
Don't try to make the people the fools
We hardly in the game to be the pawns
We have our rules
So don't play the backdoor game
It will never benefit anyone at all

happy birthday aunty vivienne

The God must be smiling
Down His tools to make His light
Shining brightly from the sky
To a place so far away

The lines of candles maybe
Lining up to bright the day
The singing chorus will sing
A loud tune of “Happy Birthday!”

I can only write this Aunty Vivienne
Let the day shine brightly to you
Though the oceans divide the distance
It is so near in our minds and eyes

May you have a wonderful day
Everyday in the years ahead
Happy 90th Birthday
May your wishes come to play

get the right party to rule

We know the powerful
They will tell us what to do
They don't really hear opinions
They think they know best

They don't realize we put them there
Doing the work we entrusted them to do
Until the next election comes our way
What we choose what we will harvest

The powerful will not listen
Once they sit on the power throne
They think we are the subjects
We have to do what they ask!

If we elect mad people
We are solely to blame
For the misadventures
The nation will go through

We haven't learned
Through all the years
It is time to make amends
Get the right party to rule!

gst interrogations

The protestors are quick to call
The police don't waste time to interrogate
The leaders of the GST rally in the city
Detaining them over-night...

Don't the police realize it?
It affects them in their pockets too
They will paying more in rising costs
Don't they wish price of goods low?

Our police quick to act
On the critics and opposition members
When it involves Amno baru leaders
It is just a very slow walk sometimes weeks

The Old Man has said
It looks like a police state
Don't waste resources on our concerned people
Go after the Muslim militants

Why not go after IMDB?
The billions can't be explained
As the Old Man says
Over $27 billions can't be accounted for

Let the concerned people rally
They are a peaceful obedient people
They don't have the intention to make fools
They want what is right for the people and nation

we still have tomorrow

We still have tomorrow
There is a hope yet for us
No doubt we may feel the worst
The dragnet pulling us through

The painted flowers bloom
It captivates the eyes and minds
Once we stop to admire it
For a while we tend to forget

The whirring sound in our ears
The negatives keep flowing in the air
How long will we stomach it?
The fools on puppet on the strings

In our minds we still have tomorrow
We have to make it counts this time
We can't be living in different set of laws
The nation cry for us to wake up and change

on the cross road

The Cross! The Cross!
We see it everyday
We hear the prayers too
Will it change your faith?
If you don't want it?
Tell me the truth!

The call of prayers
The Azan in the morning
In the evening too
Blasting through televisions
Will it change your faith?
If you don't want it?
Tell me the truth!

God's religions
On Mother Earth we hear
We practise hard we sing the songs
All be good; all be kind and compassionate
Will it change your faith?
If you don't want it?
Tell me the truth!

The Books of religious faith
All stock up in book shops
Walk in on book shelves
The many books telling stories
Will it change your faith?
If you don't want it?
Tell me the truth!

the streaming videos

The streaming videos
The naked truth
In our society
Some never learned

The blackmailed game
The women or men will pay
Afraid of what others will say
Behind closed doors

Once you pay
The blackmailers will come again
You dare to get it on video
Dare to let it rolls!

You don't have to lose money
You don't have to worry about your face
How many will know you?
How many will remember in time?

In the old day in the city
The mummy and her GRO
Men who booked them
A time they spent

The mummy said
Nobody will remember
When my girls made the monies
They will go home and get married”

We make mistakes
Don't live in past events
Tomorrow is still alive!
Go out and make the day!

the bomohs in our lives

Raja Bomoh
Perak Fatwa Council says
He is a deviant
He must be banned”

Bomohs in our nation
It is a culture back in the old days
There is nothing wrong with these people
As long as they work with the laws

The villagers will seek bomohs help
Everyday in their lives of sickness or black occult
Some people don't believe in modern medicines
So bomohs have a part in the society

Once when I was young
Modern medicine didn't help me
I tried so many times but it failed
Finally I had to seek a tiger bomoh help

He did some prayers and cleansing
With smell of incense filling the air
When it was done and finished
He didn't collect money from me

In a week's time I was cured
I guess bomohs have a role to play
In our modern society with the old tradition
We shouldn't dismiss them saying something else

the blaming game

The blaming game
Many use to play
For all the wrong reasons
When they are caught

The admission of guilt
It never comes easy
Knowing the nature of the case
Putting up red herring seems logical

The profile of the games
The police will get many
By sheer numbers and experiences
Nothing will escape the scrutiny

The sniffing dogs
Barking at the carriers
Snarling teeth eyes in combat mode
The trainers guns in ready mode

Yet we will hear
The blaming game
It isn't my bag
I was asked to carry it”
