when draconian laws must go

The morning mist
Scattered along the streets
People gathered for a cause
Onlookers stared at the peaceful march
Others cursing thinking they lost business

The police road blocks
Causing jams inconvenience to motorists
Business people should blame the police
It was a march of civil complaint

People march in peace
For a cause of injustice
The police never learn
They used tear gas and water cannons
On the people marching
For the draconian law of ISA

The pro-ISA should stay
In 6o days confinement
Then they will hunger for release
The physical abuses and mental tortures
Ask the ISA detainees and families
You never taste it so you never know
Thinking ISA is good for you

Two years in Kah Moon Thing
Without trial to say your piece
It will be extended by the Minister
Without attaching any reason at all
So you can stay for years
Wasting your youth and your sanity

People must go for change
The worst is we never tried at all
Leaving the agencies to do without a care
Paying them to do bad things to us

No Sir we have to ask for change
The country needs it so are her people
ISA shouldn't be in our lives
We have so many laws....
Why stick to the colonial one?

No ISA fair trial
People have a chance to say
In the court of law to prove a case
Innocent or guilty just give it to them
