For the country and her people
The celebrations of Malaysia Day
Yet the laws still divide the nation
The land of the Hornbill
The land below the wind
The immigration laws still exist
It is 48 years since yesterday
The government in East Malaysia
The immigration laws can stop people from West Malaysia
Entering the States for political reasons
The state government has the final say
The integration unless change by political will
The State leaders harping on personal interests
Protecting for economic and political reasons
This must change to achieve the intended journey
It is still shallow
48 years of Malaysia is formed
They still call themselves
Sabahans and Sarawakians first
Malaysian come second
48 years still the dividing mind
Are we Malaysians?
Living in the land of plenty
