The time wasted

Millions spend yet on going
Rain and floods
It doesn't wait
The flash floods
The motor vehicles parade
On the roads and junctions
Underground car parking too
The politicians talking less
They have no answer to the flooding affair
The mitigation projects taking time to complete
Meantime the people curse and condemn
Rain and floods
The angel tears will keep falling
Until we realize what are the wrongs
It is the first time to heal ourselves
