Falling Leaves
The leaves on the branches
All the years they hang it there
They feel the breezy wind
They feel the world at its best
Then the new neighbor moving in
The family of children come to stay
The noises and voices ring in the neighborhood
The leaves wake up listening in fear
One fine morning of bright sunlight
The children run to the trees
They play a game of hide and seek
The older ones climbing up the branches
The physical exertion
The leaves begin to fall
The wind doesn't come
The leaves crying in silent protests
The children run along
Bending branches leaving decaying leaves
The natural score begins to decline
The parents watch smile on their faces
When night fall
The leaves nurse its wounds
The breezy wind comes along
Some just falling can't take it any more
Life has its good and bad
Even with religion every change
A chess game play by God
There is fun and game
