When we were born
We were helpless in life
We were scared screaming out loud
Into a world we didn't know much
Then as babies grew
Eyes began to know
The warm glow of touches
The babies stayed calm
The babies learned
A part of it of a whole
Learn to accept
They just couldn't run away
Years on the life
We grew and got education
Some dropped out some made it through
We could fly so we thought we did
The next phrase of our lives
Got married or stayed alone
Feel the freedom so we thought
Some gone to jail some gone to hang
The grim fate of life
Every one had to go through
The choices one made
The parts learned to accept
In twilight years
The circle returns
Wrong approaches
Living alone
No saving no home
The crying shame of a life
What one had learned through it all?
You made your own case
