they sing of change

The old man sits in a corner
By the woods in the far away village
Smoking his long pipe with eyes of sadness
The young adults light up the campfire

They are singing of songs
Yesterday was a time long ago
Where things were simple
People interact blissfully

Now I tell you
I was a fool
I got a miserable money
Just these leaders could help me

I was a fool
They got millions
Bungalow houses big cars
Servants and overseas vacations

I am here
Lighting up campfire
Living in the zinc roof house
As years passing me by”

They young adults sing
Why don't you change?
You have your right
You shouldn't waste it!

Past mistakes let it be a lesson
You know the truth now to change
You don't have to feel sorrow
Tomorrow there is still a way”

The campfire glow with shadows
The pipe blowing the singing of voices
The old man and the young adults
They sing of change the way they know

The old man blowing smoke
The rising images floating away
The smoke of the night
The images of lies

You are wise
A future will be bright
Don't be like me
A token I got nothing

Now the leaders forget
We are the people who make it happens
They think by fooling us
With fear and intimidation

Young people is your time
The future lie with you
I have caused much misery
A token I shouldn't take”

The young men sing
The truth will be known
The government will fall
For lying and cheating

Now you have learned
Now you have seen
It isn't too late to change
Make it right when the time comes”

The campfire dancing shadows
The glow of the dark night
The smoke getting in high
Tomorrow a story will be told
