Fly
birdie fly
On
the branches you will cry
The
hungry look in your eyes
You
wait for your food
The
honey and wriggling worms
The
flapping wings when it is near
The
open beak the excitement
As
the food dangling in your eyes
Once
isn't enough
You
keep chasing your food
Crying
as you take flight
On
the branches hopping of hope
The
mother bird will watch
Hunting
food to feed the birdie
Crying
non-stop for food
For
a long while on the trees
