Once
we were great
In
languages and sports
With
our polite manners
And
our caring attitude
We
made every one welcome
Then
through the decades
We
found we lost our way
Our
education became lopsided
English
language of progress
It
was suppressed in schools
We
aren't great anymore
Our
universities aren't the best
The
universities out of the world ranking
Though
we have many universities and colleges
Yet
our standards aren't recognized
We
just want to be village champion
The
elites realize it quickly
They
packed their children overseas
Leaving
the others getting the poor education
Our
English language dropping far behind
Our
graduates can't make proper sentences
Even
in oral communication they lacked the skills
A
wasted efforts to promote a single way destination
Once we were great
Now
we harvested our efforts
On
the wrong approaches
It
is time we change government
