the social fabric of our society

The interaction of joy
The country is bless in God's eyes
The living of many races and multi-religions
With colours other nations want to get

The decades we share our diversity
We live in peaceful coexistence
We recognize our differences
We share it openly

In between our journey
The nation sees bigots and zealots
The crash of cultures and religions
The big headed pushing forgetting the peace

The social fabric of our society
It is seeing the wounded faces again
Of a time back in May 13 1969
When one race ran amok in fear

The water had flowed under the bridge
The acceptance of our belief and differences
Now we see again the extremists taking the stage
Brewing hollowness and pack of lies again

The Bee Anne government is slow walking
Hiding behind curtains watching under shade
As the black dogs keep barking in the open
The season of day and night forgotten

The nation cries silently
The angels too falling tears
God is watching us

The good life we mustn't forget
