Long
ago as I was growing up
The
old Malay folks would tell us
“Only
the Malays will change the nation
The
other races will just tag along”
Now
the voices of the moderate Malays
They
want the nation to progress
They
do not want the religious fanatics
Hindering
the economic of growth
The
fanatical groups have grown
Dishing
out the spinning tales of their own
The
central government seems slipping away
Allowing
these groups to hammer the nails
Sometimes
we see the hidden hands
The
central government seems encouraging it
Afraid
the loss of their pockets of power
The
ruling elites keeping a blind eye
The
opposition Malays
The
police will quickly round them up
When
it comes to ruling elite Malays
The
men in blue taking a long walk
The
traction has started
The
moderates and the conservatives
The
Islamic nation isn't our cup of tea
The
Constitution has spelled it out clearly
We
are Malaysians
Nothing
about race or religion
We
work together for the nation
Lose
it we will fail
