Are we ready?

The Islamic nation and hudud law?

A majority religion doesn't say

In our Constitution

Islam, religion of the Federation

It doesn't say it is an Islamic nation

Our forefathers knew and put it in the foundation

The nation is Secular

So said by our first prime minister Tunku

Reinforced it by Tun Razak and Tun Hussein

Our nation isn't an Islamic nation

We are secular governed by our Constitution

Yet we hear the politicians saying differently

From Umno baru and Pas politicians

Now the Malay NGO groups flapping wings

Don't they read the Constitution at all?

It isn't about whether we are ready or not

It is about our Constitution and its foundation

We should stand behind our Constitution

Let no one try to play it around
