Clogging the roads

After floods had receded

They wanted a piece of h istory

The relief workers

Wish these people could help

With so many jamming up the roads

But it is a wishful dreaming

The selfie tourists

Clicking the disaster scenes

Of misery and pain of the victims

Houses and properties lost in the floods

If only they could help

Fold up their sleeves and pants

Take brooms or pails or buckets

Help the victims to clear up mud and rubbish

But this is the page of history

The selfie tourists want to keep as souvenirs

The flooded town and its neighbours

Of nature warning and humans suffering
