Once I thought it was just learning chords

Played a few strum patterns

There I could hear the songs

It turned out

It was a long way to learn

It wasn't easy as I thought

It was a long way to go

The scale patterns

The chords progressions

The riffs along the way

The little theory it said

Imagine the minor and major scales

The various letters, sharps and flats

It would become a little confusing

For learning guitar as a hobby

The exercises on the fingers

The pressures and the strokes

It had to follow patterns

The rhythm beats and the right beats

It is still a hobby

Trying to get the mood going

At least it keeps my mind occupies

Exercise my fingers and imagine the flow
