something always never right

Something always never right
We keep hearing it is said
The mantra of the economic language
Our economic fundamentals are intact

But why our ringgit slides?
It had been predicted ahead
Our currency would fall
Were the government woke up?

The government blames the opposition
Bringing up 1MDB and corruption
The private account of $2.6 billion
And our little napoleons acting as lords

The GST tax brings the woes
The people getting angry everyday
Listening to the lies dishing out in our ears
And our bloated civil servants of 1.3 million!*

The foreign fund managers pulling out billions
It signals the significance falls of confidence
Is that not affecting our economic fundamentals?
Our ministers still talking in their sleep?

Don't keep saying our economic fundamentals intact
It is better to find ways to fix the economic weaknesses
The currency falls show that our nation in serious trouble
This is what we could feel the pinch in our ringgit
