the cry of lonely fisherman

borrowed castlegatepress.com

The fisherman on his boat
Sailing out in the dawn of misty clouds
He has to take his chances
In the open sea...

The ripples on the sea
The silence greet him
He doesn't hear the echo of the wind
He is alone waiting in his boat

He prays for a good catch
He is running low on his cash
He has many mouths to feed
He can't understand how his money shrinks

He only knows he has to earn a living
Out in the open sea....
But nothing seems to work today
He has nothing as time ticks away

He returns empty handed
He is worried about his family
With bills to pay and food on the table
He is running out of option

And his friends say
Our currency drops like bad
We have to work harder
To get back to what we had”

But he has no option
It is his boat and the open sea
Catch today live today
Tomorrow is hard to say
