The
turtle and hare games
On
the outlook the hare seems winning
Running
far ahead in his pursuits
With
his supporters craving for the juicy meals
The
turtle hears the drumbeats
In
the far distance he watches the race
He
walks so slowly by his weight
He
puffs on the race
He
plays his mind games
He
smiles as he takes his slow steps
“Hare
you can run like the wind
Don't
run out of steam!”
The
hare stops and looks back
“Hey
turtle why so slow?!
You
can't catch up in this race!”
“You
do your own way I do mine!”
Macc
puts up a playcard
The
hare stops to read
Sweat
flowing from his forehead
He
runs to a nearby tree to think
The
hare thinks hard
Finding
ways to satisfy his problem
The
loyalists sing praises in his ears
“You
are our leader we will follow you”
The
hare feels happy
Slowly
he feels sleepy
Falling
asleep into his dream world
The
billion stars in his mind
The
turtle reaches him
Write
a note “I caught up with you”
Walk
quickly to the horizon
See
the sunset of brilliant lights
