we forget to play as children

The busy roads of life
Every junction every traffic light
We all seem catch up with it
Thumbing fingers on steering wheels

Even on the seas
The rolling waves and windy breezes
We don't seem to be aware
We are so busy on roads of life

Many are jammed in appointments
Running to get rich quickly with time
Every day there will be appointments
In the morning till at night

We forget to enjoy life
The richness it bestows on us
The sights; the sounds; the sanctuary
We are caught up in our pursuits of wealth

We forget to play as children
Learn to carefree ways of life
Enjoy the simple tastes
Doing nothing and dreaming away
