the sorry tale

The ship anchors the port
The battle lost at the sea
The cracks all over body shape
It will take the repairers a long time

Nobody wants to see
It has a bad history
Flowing out to the sea
The people staying away

The flag flowing on the high mast
It tells of its heyday decades ago
The shining blue by the sun rays
Now the haunting dreams of last battle

The sailors had disembarked
They left with a sad sorrow
No more the glitters; no more the cash
Once it was partying the whole night through

Now they have to face the truth
The lies they had spoken and engaged
It has made them the worst kind on Earth
They can’t look up to see their lies

It is written on the sky
It is said on the high mast
The battle flag sways by the wind
Broken of spirit and the losses
