The eagles of
Langkawi
In the air sharp in
the eyes
Looking for preys
to hunt
Let nobody escape
The bad rats in
running
Tails behind its
back to escape
The rising tide of
water
The days of the
rainfalls
Out in the open
No power to oppose
The sun rays
shining on
The bad rats can be
seen
The eyes of the
eagle
Flying low claws
down to catch
The bad rats on the
run
One scoops the
eagle catches its prey
In the air the bad
rat struggles
There is no freedom
but death in the eagle’s grip
Once the eagle
lands on the tree
The bad rat can say
goodbye
There is no freedom
for criminals
They can run for a
while to escape
In time the long
arm of the law
Catch them while
they fall asleep
Some may escape
But God’s law will catch
them
When death makes
its way
Sin must be paid in
full
