a daughter cries

A daughter cries
Loudly on the injustice
Befallen on her parents
She never asks why?

She blames the government
Cooking up her tales
She forgets to mention
She lives in a luxurious life

She doesn’t blame her parents
The monies, jewelleries, and expensive handbags
All kept in the homes showing the opulent living
Until the law enforcement officers knock the doors

When the power is gone in their hands
The chains of command have gone to the dust
It dawns on the corrupted souls to realize
But a daughter cries of the injustice

Her parents still walk free
Posted bail running into millions
A daughter never asks her parents
Where the millions appear?

A daughter cries
A little too late with the crocodile tears
She hasn’t been called in yet
Then she will cry rain of tears
