Too young to die
She was only 15
She took her life
She wanted out
She couldn’t stand
The parents dispute
She had enough
She felt unwanted
She found dead
It was easy for her
She was only 15
She never learned
Life isn’t a straight road
There are road blocks
Slow down then pick up pace
She forgot to share her fear
She forgot to tell somebody
She saw dead as her only way
She was only 15
Now the parents will cry
For days and years and her
memories
Dead in the swimming pool
Drenched in water
Forever she will feel the cold
In dead life isn’t over
There is the ritual to begin
Standing in the cold
Waiting for her number to call
It is a long way from home
Too young to die
She was only 15
She never learned her life
She never found out what she
would be
She found dead
She thought it was her freedom
It is a sad day in the cold
Waiting for her number to call
