The Bee Anne
senators
Appointed to their
chairs
Yet they will not
resign
When their party
falls
The Bee Anne
senators
They will cling to
their jobs
The perks and
monies in it
They find it hard
to let go
They don’t subscribe
to gentlemen’s codes
They will say they
have the right to stay on
Though their party
falls in the general election
They will stay
until their terms ends
The politicians
have no shame
This is the game to
play until the final whistle
They will play the
hard knocks on the field
The voters should
remember their antics
Maybe the ruling
government
Pass a law in the
Constitution
Declare the Senate
should be dissolved
When Parliament
convenes for a general election
