Let nature stay

She doesn’t do wrong

She stays for us to sustain our lives

She doesn’t need our greed

We have destroyed many forests

Calling it for developments

Along the way we change the eco-systems

It will bring bad omen back to us

We have lived through

Nature hits us with her fury

Yet we hardly stay to learn

We are back to our old tricks

The developers will come

With their plans to destroy the forests

The politicians in government hardly protests

They think of bringing wealth to the nation

The short term gains a life time of pain

This isn’t the way to build confidence

PH leaders must do better than Bee Anne

Do not fall for the trap of greed and corruption

Let the forests stay

We have felt the drought and misery

Of farmers crying in hardship

Of ordinary folks waiting for water tanks
